DREAMING OF EWE

On January 1st 2018, I started me Dream series. I'm now into my 8th year. In 2024, I did things a little differently. I painted each dream on 6x6 paper. Each piece is available to purchase. The idea is that ewe too can own one of my dreams. A print of all 365 pieces will be available soon.

… Last night, I dreamt that my FAMILY was surrounding while I slept in BED. I couldn't see them, but I could feel them. A prefect way to end this 7th year of dreams!

… Last night, I dreamt that a killer was on the loose. He started off by running over anyone out on the streets. He lead his way to our HOUSE in EAST LA. He started shooting peeps. I ran to the backyard and escaped. Thinking it was over, I returned back to the house. Soon realized he was on the roof. I hid, partially, under a small odd piece of the house. I could feel his target finder on me. This went on for a while. Eventually, he got up and left. I was free to run to safety, but still felt his presence.

Right before waking up, my LITTLEZ: CALM appeared in my thoughts. I’m not sure if there was something sort of boat dream, but either way, the image felt right. CALM is inspired by my love of CALMNESS and Florence Scovel Shinn quote, ‘One’s ships come in over a calm sea.’

… Last night, I dreamt that Madonna invited me to be in her fashion show. She gave me a wig, a LEOPARD patterned dress and super high heels with small balls on the soles. It was going to be a trick balancing on them. I practiced for a bit and then returned to meet Madonna in a dumpy motel. When she saw me dressed up, I got the feeling that she no longer wanted me in the show. I told her it was ok and we hugged it out. Outside, before the show began, I was told that VIOLET CHACHKI was being detained and would join me to watch the show.
In part 2, I was in SF with my brother. He was meeting up with an investor. I went to the park next door to meet up with Violet. She was talking to a guy and wanted a date. First, she had to lick the toes of the little girl with the guy. Violet licked them and the guy walked away. We crossed the street and laid down a blanket under a tree. When I told her about the shoes and Madonna and backing out, Violet got up, with roller skates on, she began doing circles around the park. She misunderstood that the balls were not wheels. With the meeting called short, Johhny asked me to leave with him. I said, ‘No! I’m hanging out with Violet.’ And that I’d get back to him before nightfall. He didn’t trust us, he got mad and raised his voice. The last thing I recall is seeing Violet make a shocked face.

… Last night, I dreamt that I flew off a wall. Prior to me taking off, a man jumped and took his life. At a second wall, there was a river below. Prior to taking off, a woman slipped off a rock and passed away. This time, I didn't make it to the 3rd wall. In the river, as I reached for the wall, a baby had been left to drown. I caught it and handed it over to it's mom. The mom didn't seem to care. On the other side of the wall was another river. I 2nd child was drowning. I reached it and was able to save it. The river was coming from a bar area. I handed the baby to the bartender and he placed it behind the counter and kept serving. The bar was part of a ritzy shop. I wandered around and soon found myself at a giant outdoor mall. I wandered around looking for another wall to jump from... there was no leaving. At an elevator, there was no ground floor and no exit doors anywhere. There were also no homes or condos. Peeps were walking around and around. I saw multiples of the same peeps. I tried explaining this to peeps, but nobody listened. While on a rooftop, looking for an escape, I saw a city outside. Also, I found a bunch of money. A woman and her sister climbed up to it to claim it. I handed it over the money, but her sister had a small nail in her hand. I knew something was wrong. They were trying to stop me from escaping. Somehow, I took off from a small wall on the edge. I barely made it out and wandered around the city. It was normal. I returned to the mall to reveal the truths about the place. The sister appeared to greet me and to keep me from flying out again. This time, she had more weapons. Before, I escaped, I revealed truths to peeps who listened. I was able to plant seeds of suspicions.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was playing TENNIS on some strange surfaces that made no sense. The rules only benefited me. Somwehere in there, I walked by a church and cousin PATTY was having her quinceanera. Instead of a poofy dress, she was wearing a flowy BABY BLUE DRESS ... Not much happened other than I saw her in passing.

… Last night, I dreamt that our aunt MAMI came into our house at 8500. She caught me going through the sliding door into Mama and Papa’s bedroom. I pretended that I was going to the bathroom, but she knew I was lying. The bathroom was out of order, so I peed on the wall anyway. HA!
💖P.S… Her name was Nativad, everyone called her Mami. She was like the godfather of the family, a connecter of many families. Growing up, I didn’t feel a connection with her. She ran her own business and wasn’t very ‘lovey dovey’. This is why when I saw her coming to visit, I didn’t want to see her.

… Last night, I dreamt that my nephews wife IVANNA and I were banned from The Price is Right. She was selling props live while we were filming. I thought it was too cool. And because we were family, I had to go too.

… Last night, I dreamt something about Papa being upset at me for not wanting to pick up my sister MONI from the airport.
Because I slept on the couch, I’m featuring LITTLEZ: SPOT. SPOT is inspired by my love for my favorite spot in my studio. And because I sleep on the couch during the holidays, I had to feature SPOT.

… Last night, my dreams felt like 3 different movies. In part I, was having COCTAILS with KYLE RICHARDS. Then peeps from homeless CAMP behind the backyard WALL killed the peep protecting our house. I had to go on the run. In part II, I was in the ARMY. A group of us were on a training course in a messy industrial kitchen. We were sent on a mission, but before we could leave, we were arrested. Luckily an old schoolmate freed us and we were on our way. In part III, I was back at The Hotel Bel Air. This time, I wasn’t working, but rather visiting my coworkers. There was a COLORING event taking place. In the back, the waiters were making FRENCH FRIES and CHICKEN FINGERS. I had to tell the guests that I was only visiting via a DREAM.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was my sister’s MONI & BLANCA. We were going to a ritzy all girl school with 2 of their friends. The popular friend was not attending because she already had it all. The other friend was being forced to go. After we dropped her off Moni, Blanca and I went for a walk knowing we’d be returning to the school to officially say goodbye. When we got to the dorm room, Moni slammed the door. Blanca went next door to an empty room to freshen up. I went downstairs to wait in the lobby. When Blanca came down, she sat next to me. The lobby was full of old rich women. Even though Blanca was a teenager, they were making fun of her for not having plastic surgery. While thinking of what to say to shut them up, Moni came down and said she was staying and would be attending school. Blanca and I got up and walked away. We knew there was nothing we could do, but wait with open hearts and arms when she’d come back to us.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was best peeps with Anna Wintour. She also befriended my sisters Moni and Blanca. At some point, she got in trouble with her boss because she didn't have a clear idea for a project. When I saw a blouse with an image of her, I borrowed her lipstick and made her looks like a MESS. I told her, this is the idea... that she could be messy. Liking the idea, we danced around and then sat down to eat some biscuits. To make her laugh, I started talking with my mouth full. I suggested she do the same. She put a biscuit in her mouth and started talking. We started cracking up.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was on an ISLAND in ITALY. While at an intersection, a siren went off. Everyone realized that the island was going down. Before it fully submerged, a bunch of peeps jumped off and swam to a giant rock. With the ocean water rising, we jumped off again. This went on for a few times until we found the biggest rock. On the last rock, the ocean calmed down; we were safe. Peeps chille and swam as if nothing happened. As I explored the rock, I came across a hot guy sunbathing nude; it was a nude gay beach. Across the way was another an island resort. Afraid to swim over, I waited until the water receded. Once across, there was a loud rumble. In the distance, a VOLCANO was erupting. GODZILLA appeared above. Soon, lots of Godzillas popped out. They stormed the beach and shoot everyone in sight... including me. A giant lizard came over and with its face on my face, it sensed that I was dead. ( I thought it was going to bite my head off).
Soon, a bunch of Mexican peeps started clearing out the mess. When one of them got to me, I came to life. With my eyes, I told him to let me be. When they were ordered to return to their prison, I got in line and pretended to be one of them.
Before entering the prison, I ran off and hid underneath a van and returned to the beach. Immediately, an alarm went off and white peeps came out of their dwellings to walk and shop. I pretended to be one the group. When we got to the end of a trail, they stopped and turned around becasue there was an old black man with a stand. I stayed behind and asked him for help, but he was afraid. I walked along the shore and saw lots of peeps also out and about. They were all segregated by ethnicity. I asked for help, but they were afraid of endagering their lives. In the end, a Mexican woman listened, gave me some food, but told to go. All I wanted was a place to sleep and hide. Drones were everywhere.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was at a church celebration. Before it began, I grabbed some personal items from the altar. At that moment, the priest came out and asked me for a favor. He wanted me to iron something for him. I couldn’t believe he trusted me with this. In the back, he made a pass at me. I said nothing and left. Once church started, I was taken aback by the amount of peeps who showed up. The priest had become an overnight sensation. The hypocrisy of the PRIEST made me say something. No one believed me. Outside, another mega celebration was taking place in his honor. Angry, I jumped over a fence, pushed someone aside, ripped up some church manuscripts and I took off running. An old friend who was holding the manuscripts came running after me. I couldn't outrun him so I stopped. He didn't want to hurt me, he wanted to make sure that I was OK.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was in a penthouse with a group of wealthy women. Having made a mess on a leather couch and coffee table, I went in search for some cleaning supplies. Somehow, I ended up on the rooftop. PAMELA ANDERSON happened to be there too. Accidentally, I started a FIRE. When I couldn't control it, I took off running and jumped from one rooftop to another. There was a massive explosion. Having thought that Pamela was killed, I went on the run. Even though Pamela survived the explosion, the group of women went after me. Up on some mountain top, when I realized I'd be caught, I woke up.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was in an unfamiliar 3 story White House with a roof top. There were lots of different peeps hanging out, lots going on. None of it made sense. Toward the end, JAVIER, a cousin of our popped in. In real life, I’ve only seen him twice since childhood. He arrived in East LA, from Mexico, when I was 8ish. One afternoon, he came out of the shower naked, he chased me around saying something like, ‘the monster’s gonna to get you.’ I ran around pretending to be scared, but secretly wanting him to get me.
Right before waking up, a man kept breaking the EGGS I had carefully decorated.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was in WeHo celebration. From a distance, I saw my cousin DAVID talking shit to some peeps at a booth. I told one of my sisters to interrupt the situation… from here, it’s a blur. But a bunch of us, including my cousin partied the night away. When we got home in the wee hours, MAMA opened the door. She stormed out and the rest of us, feeling the munchies, headed to the kitchen. Papa came out of the bedroom and asked about Mana. He said that she was drunk too! Ha!
💖P.S… last night, my cousin and I stayed up late chatting over the phone. We talked a lot about family.

… Last night, I dreamt that myself, and a group of peeps were sedated. Our bodies were temporarily lent to peeps from outer space. When we returned to reality, our bodies were GREEN and slightly deformed. In East LA, a Halloween party was happening and everyone thought I had done a great job at being FRANKENSTEIN. They didn’t believe that my skin was actually green. I showed them that I could POOP from my mouth. It was green too. They thought it was a trick.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was in the back house at 8500. While looking for something, I heard a loud noise… sounded like a tornado in the backyard. When I stepped out, I saw some kids splashing in a swimming pool. My sisters BLANCA & MONA were eating THRIFTY’S ICE CREAM. An ice cream truck had passed by and they didn’t buy me any.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was invited to speak at a gala in honor of a female honoree. I was dressed in drag like a vixen. The speech was so sexy and enticing that the honoree invited me back to her mansion and we had sex. Don’t recall the details, but her daughter was jealous and annoyed. Before I left, a few peeps, that included Violet CHACHKI came in to hear about the details. Before I left, Violet asked if I could get info on how she could get a gig like mine. In the early morning, the chauffeur was over it when he was told to drive me back to my car.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was with the cast of GILLIGANS ISLAND. We were living out on a small portion of an island. The island soon became a huge resort with mega condos and malls. I lost the cast and as time passed, we aged and randomly passed one another on the island. Soon my family arrived, but we could never find each other. In the end, we all randomly bumped into each other and waited for Johnny to arrive. Mama made an appearance as she wanted to greet Johnny on his arrival.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was in SF and on a freeway with my sisters and Robert. We were trying to figure out how to get off of it … and that’s all I remember.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was in the ARMY. We were hiding in a room with a window. When gunfire started, I ran to the room next door. It was another troop shooting at us. Our troop was up to no good and needed to be stopped. In the other room, the sergeant entered to clear the room. I pretended to be one of them. When we got back to the safe room and I couldn’t follow instructions, she realized that I wasn’t part of their troop. She was about to shoot me when a classmate from elementary school interjected and said, ‘Give him a chance.’ I was allowed into the safe room and when the rest of their troop saw me, they said nothing. After everyone was safe, I let them know that I understood their hesitation and that I was going to do my best to support their troop. When a team challenge came up, I attempted to help the winning team to prove my loyalty, but instead I helped the underdogs. After the underdogs lost, our sergeant let me know that it was the right move. I was in with the team.
While struggling through the challenge, there was a moment where I felt thirsty and wondered how peeps handled it in real life.
💖P.S… this new LITTLEZ called DOGGY is in honor to all the peeps who have served our country. A couple months ago, my grandson joined the Army. He’s the first member of our immediate family to do so. Proud of him and who he is. Love ewe Michael.

… Last night, I dreamt that I was back at 8500. As usual, I found myself wanting some alone time. When I stepped out of the house, I was in a small vintage looking town. It looked like the whole town had a filter. As I walked through a cool restaurant, I came across a small coffee stand. In it, they had Concha’s, a traditional Mexican sweet bread. They were supersized too. Because I’m on a budget, I couldn’t afford getting one.
The dream went on with me unable to find my way back home.

… Last night, I dreamt that both ROBERT and I were working at the Hotel Bel-Air. It was in the middle of nowhere near a prison. As prisoners were coming off the bus, I was showing up to the hotel. There was a cute boy teaching peeps a form of golf. As I entered the hotel, I realized that I wasn't wearing any shoes. I walked back to my apartment, next door to Roberts, and I found him changing outfits ... from a faaabulous GREEN SUIT to a poofy PINK gown. It was too cool. Somehwere in between the apartment and the hotel, I ran into a baby ELEPHANT, a farmer, and HORSES wrangling a wild bull.
